Justin Skaife

Justin Skaife is the global technology leader for the Electronics and Protective Solutions business at W.L. Gore. His team is responsible for the development and commercialization of new products leveraging Gore’s unique materials. Justin has influenced Gore’s exploratory research strategy and embraced lean innovation concepts by incorporating them into early-stage materials development. He received a doctorate in chemical engineering from the University of Wisconsin where he developed protein diagnostic assays based on liquid crystals. Justin received his B.S. in chemical engineering from UC Santa Barbara where he performed research on Langmuir-Blodgett films. Justin holds patents spanning a broad set of applications including biosensors, liquid crystal on silicon displays, flexible circuits for wearables, and high-performance outdoor garments.
